Live Seminar FAQ

How can I get a current Barnett seminar schedule?
To be added to our mailing list or to receive a copy of our catalog, e-mail: customer.service@barnettinternational.com.

What does the seminar registration fee include?
Your seminar registration fee includes course tuition, networking lunches, refreshments, and all educational materials.

Are there any standard discounts available to seminar registrants?
Yes! We offer two standard discounts. Barnett provides volume discounts for multiple enrollments from the same company in the same program. Enrollment must be made at the same time.

  • 10% discount for two participants
  • 15% discount for three or more participants

Please note that multiple enrollment discounts CANNOT be combined with early enrollment discounts.

Can I obtain continuing education credits by attending a Barnett seminar?
Program participants will receive continuing education units (CEUs) as indicated on each seminar description page for full participation (complete sign-in sheet, pre- and post-test, and evaluation form). Barnett must receive all completed documentation within 30 days of program completion or CEUs will not be issued. Barnett will mail CEU statements within three weeks of program participant application submission. Educational Services is approved by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical education. The Committee on Continuing Education of the New Jersey State Nurses Association (NJSNA) has approved several of our courses. The NJSNA is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission (ANCC) on Accreditation of the American Nurses Association as an approver of continuing education for nurses.

What is Barnett's seminar cancellation policy?

Your notice of cancellation must be received 10 days prior to the start of the seminar. Please note that in the event of cancellation you will be issued an event pass, and Barnett does not refund your registration fee. This Event Pass may be applied toward a future Barnett seminar of equal value within six (6) months of issue date. The original Event Pass must be surrendered at the time you register for a future seminar. Event Passes are not transferable to any other type of program, such as conferences or product orders. Within 10 business days before seminar, no Event Pass will be issued.

Barnett reserves the right to change the instructors and timing of our public seminars. Efforts will be made to notify participants in either event. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred, including airfare (or penalties) and hotel, as a result of a cancellation, instructor, or date and time change of any seminar.

Does Barnett limit seminar enrollment?
Yes. Barnett limits seminar enrollment to 30 people to maximize the interactivity of the programs. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Register early to be sure to secure a seat!

How long are Barnett seminars?
Most of our seminars are two full days in length (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM). Each day, there will be assorted breakfast items available one half- hour prior to the seminar start; a network lunch, and morning and afternoon breaks.

Will I receive written confirmation of my seminar registration?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation upon registration.  All course materials will be provided when you arrive at the program (workbook, handouts, etc.).

Who do I contact to make hotel reservations?
To make hotel reservations, please contact the hotel directly. The hotels have allocated a limited block of rooms at a reduced rate for Barnett Seminar Participants. Hotel reservations must be made 31 days before program start date to ensure rates. These rates are available to individual seminar participants and may not be available through travel agency bookings. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis and may fill prior to cut-off. Be sure to mention Barnett when contacting the hotel. Participants are responsible for all portions of their hotel bill. Please DO NOT send hotel fees to Barnett Educational Services or include them as part of your registration fee payment. Late notifications or no-shows may result in a hotel penalty billing to the participant. If you need to cancel your hotel reservation, please call the hotel directly. Most hotels require at least 48 hours notice of cancellations.

How should I dress for a Barnett seminar?
Business casual dress is appropriate for our seminars.
