Hamrell Appointed Editor of Barnett International’s Good Clinical Practice: A Question & Answer Guide
Needham, MA, November 16, 2011 — Barnett International announced today that Dr. Michael Hamrell, President of MORIAH Consultants, will assume the role of lead editor of Barnett’s Good Clinical Practice, a Question & Answer Guide. Developed by Mark Mathieu of PAREXEL International Corporation, the title is a leading source of clarification for industry professionals responsible for navigating the nuances and the many emerging complexities of Good Clinical Practice compliance. “I am very excited about this opportunity to continue to the excellent tradition of this great resource book and take it to the next level,” Hamrell said.

Mark Mathieu will continue to play an advisory role for the publication, which is widely read by clinical research professionals globally. The guide answers approximately 500 of the most common and difficult questions regarding the day-to-day interpretation and implementation of GCP requirements for drugs and biologics. “I look forward to working with Michael in continuing my association with the Good Clinical Practice Question and Answer Reference Guide, and am genuinely excited about the new perspectives and expertise that Michael will bring to the text given his extensive experience both at the FDA and within regulated industry,” said Mark Mathieu.
